Katy Verstraete brengt enkele maanden na de dood van haar man Marc Couvreur het fotoboek 'Dailies 366' uit. De Oostendse fotograaf stierf begin 2013 op 48-jarige leeftijd. Marc nam tijdens het laatste jaar van zijn leven elke dag een foto, dat was in 2012. Deze beelden werden gebundeld in het fotoboek. Een nalatenschap, die hij helemaal zelf nog heeft geregisseerd.
Een kleine greep uit dit oeuvre waren te zien in Exposure Value. In die reeks is het opvallend hoe hij zo mooi de onderwerpen isoleert uit het geheel, ze herleidt naar een grafisch lijnenspel. Het licht zat altijd goed bij Marc, het contrast ook.
Bijzonder blij waren wij met het tentoonstellen van zijn grote gomdrukken: naakten uit de reeks ‘Narcissos’.

The Ostend photographer died in early 2013 at the age of 48. During the last year of his life, Marc took a photo every day, that was in 2012. These images were collected in the photo book. A legacy that he directed all by himself. A small selection from this oeuvre was exhibited in Exposure Value. In that series it is striking how he so beautifully isolates the subjects from the whole, converts them into a graphic play of lines. He was a master in controling the light and the contrasts.
We were very pleased with the exhibition of his large gum prints: nudes from the "Narcissos" series.
