Twee tentoonstellingen in Oostende op hetzelfde moment: In Exposure Value :'Sédamon | Nomades', In de Nieuwe Gaanderijen op de Zeedijk: 'Ostende, Mon Amour' Wat begonnen is in 2011 als compleet toevallige ontmoeting in de straat, bloeit open in een waar liefdesverhaal en evolueert naar een unieke samenwerking tussen Lea Lund en Erik K. Als nomaden trekken ze door steden: New York, Rotterdam, Marseille, Sevilla, München, Lausanne, Berlijn, Parijs, Luxemburg …steeds met hun unieke stijl van fotograferen. Lea neemt Erik mee de straat op, de stad in. Ze dirigeert hem om helemaal op te gaan in de omgeving, de decors. Lea heeft een onmiskenbaar oog voor detail. Aangetrokken door de structuren in gebouwen, kunstwerken, monumenten, toeval en licht. Ze trekt alle registers open: een mix van reportage-, architectuur-, portret- en modefotografie maar 'dans un style brut'. De poses of bewegingen van Erik, de elegantie, de kostuums … alle foto's getuigen van een tijdloze schoonheid, goeie smaak, liefde en een vleugje humor. 'Sédamon' een tweede luik van de tentoonstelling in Exposure Value is een reeks studioportretten van Erik K. Hij wordt afgebeeld als icoon: tijdloos, volmaakt, verheven. Hij is bijna niet meer 'mens'. In dezelfde periode 'Ostende, mon Amour' in de Nieuwe Gaanderijen op de Zeedijk in Oostende. Waar zij Oostende hebben gekozen als decor voor hun bijzondere fotografie.

What started in 2011 as a completely coincidental meeting in the street, blossoms into a true love story and evolves into a unique collaboration between Lea Lund and Erik K. As nomads they travel through cities: New York, Rotterdam, Marseille, Seville, Munich, Lausanne, Berlin, Paris, Luxembourg… always with their unique style of photography. Lea takes Erik up the street into the city. She directs him to become completely absorbed in the environment. Lea has an unmistakable eye for detail. Attracted by the structures in buildings, works of art, monuments, coincidence and light. She pulls out all the stops: a mix of reportage, architecture, portrait and fashion photography but 'dans un style brut'. Erik's poses or moves, the elegance, the costumes… all photos testify to a timeless beauty, good taste, love and a touch of humor.
'Sédamon' a second part of the exhibition in Exposure Value is a series of studio portraits of Erik K. He represents an icon: timeless, perfect, exalted. He is hardly 'human'.
