'Cité3': Les Corons d’Auchel (’75-’80). Cité, privé terrein, grauw en dof, in de schaduw van terrils, met de stank van een eeuwig brandend stort, bron van plezier voor de kinderen, scharrelplaats en bijverdienste voor volwassenen. Pierre, Bruno, Didier, Jean-Luc, Daniël, René, Jean-Claude, Anita, Noëlla, Martine, Patricia: kinderen uit één gezin. Ze leven er op straat omdat er binnen geen plaats is; omdat er binnen niets mag en buiten alles kan.
'Ora pro nobis': Bid voor ons. Foto’s van en vooral in de marge van processies, ommegangen en aanverwante religieuze praktijken. Een zeer menselijk document, gefotografeerd met, een warme terughoudendheid die, in het licht van de kosmos, weemoedig maakt, en alles oneindig relatief.

Cité, private grounds, gray and dull, in the shade of waste mountains of coal, with the stench of an eternally burning dump, a source of fun for the children, a free-range place and extra income for adults. Pierre, Bruno, Didier, Jean-Luc, Daniël, René, Jean-Claude, Anita, Noëlla, Martine, Patricia: children from one family. They live on the street because there is no room inside; because nothing is allowed inside and everything is possible outside.
Ora pro nobis: Pray for us. Photos of and especially in the margins of processions and related religious practices. A very human document, photographed with, a warm restraint that, in the light of the cosmos, makes everything melancholy, and everything infinitely relative.
